Member Advisory Board

 Dr Shafiq Alam is a Senior Lecturer and Doctoral Supervisor at the School of Management and Marketing, where he also serves as Director of Business Analytics Programmes. He is passionate about teaching, mentoring, and supporting students’ academic and professional growth. 

Outside academia, Shafiq is an active community member, leading running and hiking groups, and participating in local clubs to promote health, wellness, and social connection. He is committed to fostering collaboration, inspiring learning, and making a positive impact both within and beyond the university.
