 Mohsin Azhar is currently working at Wellington Electricity as an IT Specialist, contributing to the company’s mission of delivering safe, reliable, and efficient electricity distribution services across the Wellington region. Wellington Electricity plays a vital role in powering homes, businesses, and essential services, ensuring technological resilience and operational excellence in New Zealand’s energy infrastructure. 

He holds a Master’s degree in Mobile Systems from Sweden, where he completed a research project with Ericsson Research, focusing on emerging mobile technologies and distributed systems. Building on this foundation, Mohsin went on to work with Persivia, a leading healthcare technology organisation, as a Technical Lead, where he played a key role in designing and delivering multiple large-scale healthcare solutions that enhanced clinical workflows, interoperability, and patient care outcomes. With over 15 years of professional experience, Mohsin has built a strong background in software engineering, solution architecture, and technical leadership across the IT and healthcare sectors. His work spans the full software development lifecycle—from architecture and design to implementation and delivery of enterprise-grade applications. 

Throughout his career, he has successfully led cross-functional teams, modernized legacy systems, and implemented scalable digital solutions that improved performance, maintainability, and business value. His approach blends technical depth with a clear understanding of organisational goals, ensuring alignment between technology initiatives and strategic outcomes. In addition to his professional work, Mohsin is passionate about mentoring and volunteering to support the personal and professional growth of individuals within the community.
